Moon phase
Waxing Crescent
First steps
The energy of this phase
With the first sliver of light, tradition associates this phase with the drive to set in motion what you sensed at the new moon. It is a time for small, concrete steps, with no rush to see the final shape. It invites you to trust the process and to protect the energy you have just lit.
Ritual
Pick one of your intentions and take a single small action today that brings it closer, however simple.
If you were born under this moon
Those born under the waxing crescent moon are traditionally associated with inexhaustible curiosity and a desire to explore. You were born when the light was just beginning to show, and it is said that this is why you are driven by the enthusiasm of the beginning: you learn quickly, ask many questions, and jump in before having all the answers. Your challenge is to sustain that impulse when the novelty fades and what remains is constant work. It helps you to divide long paths into short segments that you can celebrate, and to choose companions who appreciate your energy without hindering it. Tradition describes you as someone who opens doors for others, sometimes without realizing it.
